Rantya High School was established in 1995 by its founder Mrs Okewole fourteen years after the inception of Rantya School in 1988.
In 2002 Rantya High School Graduated its pioneer set. Two years later the ownership of the school was taken over by Mr & Mrs de Douhet and has since then experienced tremendious growth.

Apart from being an accredited center for WAEC (West African Examinations Council) and NECO (National Examinations Council) examinaitons, Rantya High School also offers its students the opportunity to learn french and chineese languages.

The school is also a center for DELF (Diploma of French Language) classes
